New Players Wanted!
The Eugene Stags are always welcoming new players to join our rugby club! Players of all fitness levels, sizes, and ages 18+ are welcome. Experience or knowledge of Rugby not needed–just determination and a willingness to learn.

Rugby is a great way to get or stay in shape, make friends, and give back to the community. If you have any questions, email us at info@eugenerugbyclub.com.


Practices
We will not have regular rugby practices until sometime in February, but we (and others) will be playing touch rugby at Civic Park in Eugene, Thursdays from 6:00pm to 7:30pm for now (touch will move to Wednesdays sometime in December). Touch is a lot of fun, and it will help you with a lot of the basic skills. And it's co-ed, so anybody can play.

Games
We play most of our home games at Agnes Stewart Middle School, in Springfield.

Social
After home games and occasionally during the off-season, you can find us at The Alibi Tavern, a bar at 2422 Main Street in Springfield.

Rugby Values:

• In 2009 the World Rugby member unions identified integrity, passion, solidarity, discipline and respect as the defining character-building characteristics of rugby. These are now collectively known as the World Rugby values and are incorporated within the World Rugby Playing Charter, a guiding document aimed at preserving rugby's unique character and ethos both on and off the field of play.
• The core values enable participants immediately to understand the character of the games and what makes it distinctive as a sport which is played by people of all shapes and sizes.
• The World Rugby Playing Charter is incorporated within the World Rugby laws of the game and can be read in a number of languages by going to world.rugby/laws
